Elves
Physique: Elves are tall and lithe, but not terribly unlike humans in stature.
All elves have the following special rules:
- Goblins Fear elves that they do not outnumber by more than two to one.
- Elves suffer double the standard movement penalties for Armour.

Wood Elves
Wood Elves have the following additional special rules:
- Wood Elves may move through wooded areas without suffering penalties for Movement, Maneouvre, or Formation Changes.
- Wood Elves add 6" to the ranges of their bows of all kinds.
- Wood Elf wizards may substitute any battle magic spell with an illusion spell of the same level, and may substitute one battle magic spell for an elemental spell of the same level. Wood elves may not use necromantic or demonic spells.
High Elves
High Elves have the following additional special rules:
- High Elf wizards may susbtitute one battle magic spell from each level for one illusion, elemental, demonic, or necromantic spell of the same level.
Sea Elves
Sea Elves gain the following additional special rules:
- Sea Elves unencumbered by armour may swim across bodies of water at half rate. Bows or Crossbows may not be fired on the same turn that a sea elf swims across water. Gunpowder weapons thus carried will be unusable for the remainder of battle. Sea elves can swim while equipped with a shield, a hand arm, or any wooden weapon no longer than a spear, but not a halberd, pike or double-handed weapon.
- Sea elf wizards may substitute one battle magic spell from each level with an illusion, demonic, or elemental spell of the same level. Sea elves may not cast necromantic spells.
Dark Elves
Dark Elves gain the following additional special rules:
- Witch Elf special units are subject to Frenzy.
- Dark Elves Hate other forms of Elf.
- At least one spell of every level must be a demonic or necromantic spell. All battle magic spells may be substituted for demonic or necromantic spells. One battle magic spell of any level may be substituted for an illusion spell of the same level. Dark elves may not use Elemental spells.
- Dark Elves may use Assassins.
- Dark Elf Characters must have D6-3 Personal Chaos Attributes.
